Hello friends! Today I’m doing something that I’ve never done before. I’m asking you for a personal favor. I am reaching out to you with an urgent plea to help a missionary family.

I have some sweet friends that I’ve known for many years who gave up SO much to move to Africa to become missionaries. They had to sell most of their belongings, find people to sponsor them, and have had to continue raising funds to sustain their mission. The Noah family is a family of five with a fire in their hearts to share the gospel. They have two beautiful daughters and a sweet little boy with them on this journey.

Unfortunately, because of the current circumstances in our world, their 10 month journey has come to an abrupt ending and now they need God to move in a mighty way!

They are being forced to evacuate Tanzania. They originally had flights booked and enough money raised that they could put the rest on credit cards. Those flights were $9,000! Their original tickets were cancelled and now the only option they have left, will cost them $15,500. This is too much for them to put on a credit card.

These are my personal friends and I am begging you to help us get them back to America!

To help, please go to their website and scroll down to the donate button.

I know that these are very tough times for everyone. If all you have is $5, please know that it will add up and help bring our friends home! And God will surely bless your efforts!

If they somehow end up with extra, it will help their future ministry as this situation is only for a season and they plan to return to Tanzania in the future.

Whether or not you can give, please pray for them!

One other thing that I am pleading with you to do, is to share this post! Pin it on Pinterest. Share it on Facebook. However you can, please help me get the word out! I thank you so very much and I know that they will appreciate every single dollar and every prayer that is sent up to heaven on their behalf!

Be blessed my friends!

They have contacted the embassy and their senator. The US is currently gathering information for US citizens in Tanzania, but not taking action for evacuation flights at the moment. In addition, they have been informed that if and when they do, “Evacuation flights are not free-of-charge and are, in fact, frequently more expensive than currently available commercial travel.”

I hope they make it home soon! Can’t Fire International help them with tickets?

FIRE, as a mission organization, and their missionaries operate on a Biblical model of partnership. Missionaries do have an emergency fund, and they had enough to get home under normal circumstances. Of course, no one predicted the current situation or the exorbitant cost that has resulted.

Wow, what a tough situation! We have lifelong friends who are missionaries that made it back into the United States a few weeks ago. I’ll be praying!
